Every year, 25 million bikes are sold in the United States. Approximately1/3 of those bikes are of the 20-inch wheel size or smaller, which means an estimated 8 million bikes are outgrown each year by children. Free Bikes 4 Kidz seeks to recycle those bicycles by finding them new homes with deserving kids.

The nonprofit accepts new and gently used bikes of any size, including tricycles. Bikes should be in good rideable condition and require minimal repair work. Severely damaged bikes are not accepted.

Donated bikes are cleaned and repaired, then distributed to underserved kids in time for the holidays via community partner organizations. For many recipients, this is their very first bike.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. For more information, visit fb4katl.org.
